Imphal, December 11 2015 : The National Institute of Technology (NIT), Manipur has organised its 2nd convocation programme at the institute campus located at Langol.

The programme was graced by AS Kiran Kumar, Secretary , Department of Space cum Chairman of Space Commission and Indian Space Research Organisation, MLA Dr N Bijoy Singh and Professor Yagnaswamni Sundara Rajan, Chairman, Board of Governors, NIT , Manipur as presidium members.

During the programme, Rudi Okram who topped the BTech examination 2011-2015 was feted by the institute.

Rudi Okram, d/o O Rudrababu Singh, Assistant Professor, Oriental College and RK Kendida Devi of Keisampat Leimajam Leikai received the Chairman's Gold Medal and Institute's Gold Medal for securing the first position in BTech 2011-2015 session in all the streams with CGPA of 9.67 and in EEE stream in NIT, Manipur.

At present, Rudi is undergoing her MTech in EEE in NIT, Guwahati.
