MMAB to distribute at Bangalore

Imphal, April 11 2020: As a part of their continuous effort to support Manipuris based in Bangalore in the face of crisis like situation due to COVID-19, Manipuri Meitei Association, Bangalore (MMAB) is preparing to distribute food package (5 kg Rice, 1 kg dal, 1 ltr oil, salt and biscuit) phase by phase.

As per a statement of the association, food packages will be distributed on April 12 at Mahadevapura Police Station from 3 pm to 6 pm before doing the same next day at Ejipura Bus Stand from 3 pm to 6 pm .

The MMAB also requested all Bangalore based Manipuris who are in need of ration to reach out to the association through Yambem Arun (9886605739), Romen Thokchom (7005019231), T Sibaraj (8073592417), John N (9945696754), Binika P (8787562528) and Jhaljit Rajkumar (9620221485) .

The association also extended deepest gratitude to Bengaluru Police especially DCP East, Anucheth and his team, DCP SE Shrinath Joshi and his team, Col Christopher Rego and Sunbird Trust for their out of way support to ensure wellbeing of the community.

The association however expressed regret for being unable to cover all locations in Bengaluru due to some factors.
