Mathematics & Science Competition, Peace Poster Contest conducted

Imphal, November 10 2024: Lions Club of Imphal Central, Lions International District-322D organised a "Peace Poster Contest, 2024" for children of the age group 11 to 13 years at the Millennium School, Patsoi Block today.

The "Peace Poster Contest 2024" was conducted in collaboration with Millennium School.

It was graced by Lions Club of Imphal Central, President, Dr Pangeijam Sanjeev; Club vice president, Oinam Jibanchandra' Singh; District Cabinet Treasurer, Lions International District 322D, Yumnam Ranjit Singh; GAT/GMT Coordinator, Dr Potsangbam Jashawanta Singh and artist Ngangom Narendrajit as presidium members.

Out of 28 participants, Salam Venessa, a Class VII student of Millennium School was declared as the winner of the contest.

Salam Veninda and Naveen Naoshekpam won the 2nd & 3rd positions respectively.

Cash awards donated by Lukram Romen Singh in the name of his deceased father late Lukram Surendro Singh @ Bhuno, deceased elder brothers Late Lukram Pritam Singh and Late Lukram Kendrabir Singh have been awarded to the 1st, 2nd & 3rd position holders.

Also, cash awards were also awarded to Vishudra Laishram (4th position), Khristina Irom (5th position), Nilam Mairembam (6th position), Salam Vasu (7th position), Phamdom Niraj Singh (8th position), Thangjam Johnish Singh (9th position) and Chingshubam Luchingba Meitei (10th) .

The awards for 4th to 10th position holders were donated by Thokchom Ranbir Singh, Past Club President in memory of his deceased father Late Thokchom Joykumar Singh.

Moreover, Mayai Yumpham Khuman Kanglei Apunba Etinpham (MYKKAE), Mayang Imphal also organised the 1st State Level Mathematics & Science Competition at S Chaoba Memorial English School, Singjamei Kongba Road today.

The competition was participated by students from Class V to VIII .
