Thoubal, April 10 2022:
Thoubal Deputy Commissioner A Subhas has stated that the Government opted to construct fences at Yaithibi Loukol to stop encroachment into its land measuring 435 acres.
He also stated the fencing work at Yaithibi Loukol doesn't intrude into any private land and urged all to stop circulating unfounded allegations on social media.
Speaking to media persons at Thoubal DC office today, A Subhas continued that the fencing works will be carried out only at its land and sought cooperation from all stakeholders.
He then urged all people who encroached or built structures in Government property illegally to evacuate voluntarily without waiting for an eviction drive.
