Shalom Academy celebrates its achievement on Wildlife Week

Shalom Academy, Motbung celebrated its achievement in securing the first position at the State level quiz competition held in connection with the 64th Wildlife Celebration Week, 2019 at Imphal.
The celebration ceremony was graced by Paotinmang Doungel, ADGP as the chief guest while PG Singsit, Superintendent of Police, Noney district attended as the guest of honour and Lamminthang Singsit, Deputy Manager, IT, MSPDCL and Lamminlal Simte, SDO Thanlon (an alumni of the school) also attended the function apart from Forest department representatives.
The winner of the State level quiz competition of the 64th Wildlife Week Celebration 2019 namely Lungouhao Lhouvum and Nellhoithem Kipgen also participated in the event, which was sponsored and organized by the Department of Forestry.
The occasion was also marked the introduction of the winning team led by the two champions who represent hard work, dedication, integrity, tenacity, and a competitive spirit which was followed by various special invitees.
Paotinmang Doungel, ADGP motivated the students and talked about 'Modern day education and Biblical worldview � are they compatible' and IPS PG Singsit stressed on how to prepare for future career while the school alumni spoke on education foundation: fundamental to future.
Lamminthang Singsit, secretary, Shalom Academy School Board said that today is a very significant day for the academy as God has chosen it to display its glory.
He continued that the school proudly introduce the brightest, comprehensive and fastest students in the State, whose exceptional performances led them to secure the first place.
Prize distribution from Rev V Sitlhou, President TBA, dance, solo, introduction of Dr C Singsit, founder of the school and speech from the winning students marked the occasion.
