Bishnupur, February 09 2020: A blessing ceremony for the candidates of the impending class X and XII examinations from Phubala was held today at Loktak Maru Community Hall.

At the ceremony, ex-Pradhan Phubala Gram Panchayat, Y Lokhon Singh; DDO/DI Ch Samungou Singh and social worker Oinam Tomba Singh shared the dais as presidium members.

At the ceremony, about 65 students from Phubala were encouraged by giving simple gifts.

An interaction between former Principal cum founder of Carrier Foundation Academy Maibam Kanta Singh and the students were also held.

A similar programme was also held for the students from Kumbi Assembly Constituency at Borayangbi.

Organised by Borayangbi Government Upper Primary School, the programme was attended by Asst News Editor DDK Imphal, Ch Birendra Singh; Head Master Borayangbi Govt Upper Primary School, Alhaj Ibohal Haji; retd Head Master, Alhaj Abdul Qadir and several women of the locality.
