Viksit Bharat Essay Challenge Manipur State Team leaves for Delhi

Viksit Bharat Essay Challenge Manipur State Team left Imphal for Delhi today to participate in the prestigious National Youth Festival 2025, scheduled to be held from January 10-12, 2025, at the iconic Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi.
A total of 16 participants will be representing the State, with 14 students presenting essays on various themes and tracks.
The team will be led by two esteemed faculty members - Dr S Sunil Singh, Department of Biochemistry, and Dr H Suraj Singh, Department of Anthropology, both from Manipur University.
According to a release issued by NSS Cell Manipur University, the team has been constituted under the supervision of Prof N Lokendra Singh, Vice-Chancellor of Manipur University, Canchipur, Imphal in collaboration with the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India.
The initiative is being spearheaded by the Nodal Officer Dr Laishram Santosh Singh, the Viksit Bharat Committee and Programme Coordinator, NSS Cell of Manipur University.
The send-off ceremony for the Viksit Bharat Essay Challenge Manipur State Team was held at the Bir Tikendrajit International Airport, Imphal today.
At the ceremony, Prof N Lokendra Singh extended his heartfelt wishes to all 1he participants and encouraged them to strive for excellence and success at the upcoming National Youth Festival.
He also expressed gratitude for the efforts of the organisers and participants in making the event a reality.
The Vice-Chancellor further emphasized the importance of such platforms in nurturing leadership and creativity among the youth.
All the participants expressed their profound gratitude to Prof N Lokendra Singh for his unwavering support and guidance in ensuring the success of this remarkable initiative.
The participants also conveyed that they would forever cherish the kindness and encouragement extended by the Vice-Chancellor and are committed to making Manipur proud at the National Youth Festival 2025.Notably, the National Youth Festival aims to foster national integration, communal harmony, and youth development by offering a platform for young individuals to showcase their talents in cultural and competitive events.
Its primary objective is to empower young talents and inspire them to contribute to the nation's progress.
