BJP promises balanced development for hill areas

Imphal, April 07 2015 : A one-day political awareness cum mega online enrolment campaign for BJP was held on Tuesday at Tunggam Afii Village of Senapati District.

The programme was hosted by Woba Zoram, an intending candidate who will contest the next General Elections on a BJP ticket in Mao Assembly Constituency.

During the campaign, BJP also promised a balanced development for the hill areas of the State.

Widespread mass enrolment to BJP in many hill areas is a sure-shot sign for the good future of BJP in the state, said many party leaders.

As a part of the event, the nine BJP candidates who will contest the coming ADC Election for the nine ADCs of Mao AC were introduced to the media and public.

Many BJP Manipur Pradesh leaders were also present on the occasion.

State BJP Vice President I Mangiton was the Chief Guest; former MLA M Bhorot was the President; while former BJP MLA S Ibohal, State Secretary Kharga Tamang and S Tikendra were the Guests of Honour.

Most leaders who spoke during the function refuted the allegation that BJP is an anti-Christian party.

BJP State Vice President I Mangiton predicted a bad future of Congress in the State and added that even though there are some Congress powers in the Northeast as of now, BJP will dominate the region too as the party did outstandingly well in the last parliamentary elections.
