Protest staged against razing of Babri Masjid at Sora

Kakching, December 06 2021: A protest was staged on Monday at Sora Keithel in Kakching district to mark the 29th anniversary of demolition of Babri Masjid.

The protest was organised under the aegis of All India Imams Council, Manipur State.

Speaking to media persons, All India Imams Council, Manipur State committee vice president, Mufti Arshad Hussian Kasmi stated that the people had not forgotten the demolition of Babri Masjid and stated that the tragic incident would remain etched in the memory of everyone throughout the ages.

He also mentioned that the hope and aspiration of millions of Muslims in the country was destroyed by biased judgement in favour of some individual with vested interest tarnishing the image of the Constitution and the Supreme Court.

Mufti Arshad Hussain Kasmi further cautioned the public to be wary of such individuals with vested interest.

The protestors also shouted slogans including "demolition of Mosque is an act of terrorism", "rebuild Masjid at the same site", "We want justice", "Punish all involved in demolition of Babri Masjid", "Sangha Pariwar Down Down, RSS Down Down", etc.
