Thoubal, October 05 2015:
BJP, Manipur Pradesh spokesperson M Hemanta has today attacked the ruling Congress calling it a time past Government who does only what it wills.
He was speaking at the 7th Annual Literary Meet held at the Shining Academy, Langathel today.
The ruling Government, instead of collaborating with intellectuals to bring peace in the State, are busy pointing fingers at one another.
Records of skulls being discovered inside a school campus have been suppressed without applying the needed probe.
The BJP spokesperson further criticised the ruling Government for maintaining silence on the Churachandpur violence.
It is most unfortunate, Hemanta said, that the State Government should choose violence over peaceful measures to control an unrest.
Langathel Gram panchayat pradhan Md Shahabira and 2nd Assam Rifles, Khongjom, Major Khagemba graced the literary meet as president and chief guest respectively.
The school also hosted a felicitation event for its meritorious students during the meet.
