VDF Welfare Association Bishnupur urges authority to release two months salaries

Bishnupur, May 03 2019:
VDF Welfare Association Bishnupur has urged the authorities concerned to release the two months pending salaries of VDF personnel in Bishnupur district.
Speaking at a press meet held at Bishnupur district, VDF Welfare Association Bishnupur president Devan conveyed that the VDF personnel who are carrying out their duties in the district have not received their two months worth salaries till date.
However, personnel in other districts have received their salaries for March and April, he claimed.
In connection with the issuance of service extension for VDF personnel every year, the president went on to state that same notice has not been issued as it has not reached treasury yet.
He questioned how the VDF personnel in other districts can withdraw their salaries and not the ones in Bishnupur district.
He further stated that the VDF personnel are facing immense grievances as their salary is the only source of income to maintain their respective family.
Meanwhile, he lauded the State Government for assuring to provide facilities and welfare schemes similar to that of a State police, MR, IRB etc while appealing the Government for a speedy initiative.
Devan urged the Government to hear the grievances of the personnel and release the pending salaries at the earliest.
