Senapati, July 02 2015 :
The Zelu Council (Manipur and Nagaland) in a statement reacted strongly against the statement of the Zeliangrong Union (AMN) which was published in Manipur based dailies on May 31 wherein it had asked both the parties to declare Dziiko valley as the 'no men's land' .
The Zelu Council termed the statement as completely unacceptable because there is no vacant land/forest in Dziiko area, which is shared by Tenyimi brothers.
Every community has its own jurisdiction including Ze (Yangkhullen), the Zelu Council (M/N) said and added that any party/parties who try to encroach on one's jurisdiction would not be accepted at any cost.
The Council also appealed to Mao Council and Southern Angami People's Organization (SAPO) to settle their differences through the spirit of true brotherhood because the conflict is a serious setback to the traditional relationship of the two communities that is existing since time immemorial as neighbours and blood relatives.
