Imphal, June 01 2013 : Meritorious Muslim students were honoured with presentation of simple gifts on the occasion of first foundation anniversary of Pangal Political forum (PPF), Manipur celebrated today at Manipur Press club.

The celebration was attended by senior advocate Khaidem Mani, PPF president (Retd) cE AR Shah, AMWJU president Wangkhemcha Shya-mjai, UCM president Yumnam Nabachandra, AMUCO president KT Rahman, Kuki Mothers' Union president Rose Mangshi Haokip, PPF chief advisor AR Khan and social activist Salamat Sheikh.

speaking as the chief guest, Khaidem Mani affirmed that cooperation and promoting cordiality amongst various communities settled in Manipur are some essential factors for strengthening Manipur.

Noting contribution of Muslim community in important issues of Manipur, he also expressed elation on Muslim students performing excellently in various examinations.

Earlier, delivering the keynote address, PPF spokesman MI Khan stated that PPF is not only a political organisation as its activities also include participation in social issues and promotion education among the Muslim students.

He also pledged unstinted support and pro-active role in important issues of Manipur.
