Law Minister and DoNER Minister to arrive on Dec 2

Imphal, November 30 2011: One day ahead of the scheduled visit of Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh and UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi, Union Law Minister Salman Khurshid and DoNER Minister Pawan Singh Ghatowar will arrive at Imphal on December 2 .

According to an official source, the Union Law Minister and the DoNER Minister would make a prior assessment of the projects being readied by the State Government for inauguration by the Prime Minister and the UPA Chairperson.

In connection with the scheduled visit of the Prime Minister and the UPA Chairperson, 50 personnel of SPG have already reached Imphal.

Following the bomb blast at the venue of Sangai festival today, security measures have been tightened all the more, informed a senior police officer.
