Imphal, July 31 2011: Zeliangrong Students' Union Manipur (ZSUM) has demanded for cancellation of recruitment of teachers recently conducted by Tamenglong Autonomous District Council (TADC) .

Saying that there were many loopholes and irregularities ZSUM said that the union is not at all amuse with the recently conducted recruitment of Assistant Teachers under TADC.

The concerned authority's bias attitudes favouring particular candidates for their self gains is not acceptable by the public, it said.

The union further alleged that ADC Tamenglong had violated the rules and regulations of RTE 2009 as framed under the SSA.

In total contravention with the public interest, CEO TADC recruited a number of Assistant Teachers under his own discretion and still continuing.
