Imphal, April 30 2016 : The JAC constituted at Lilong Haoreibi Awang Leikai in connection with the death of Sagolsem Prasanta has sought cooperation from different civil society organisations and reli-gious leaders to put in collective efforts to ascertain the cir- cumstances leading to the youth's death.

In a statement, the JAC spokesperson Md Islamuddin urged the CSOs and religious leaders to help them in taking up all necessary steps to contain the prevailing situation.

He further appealed to the Government to resolve the matter by convening a joint meeting of the two communities at the earliest.

He also urged the Government to reveal the post mor- tem and forensic reports to the public at the earliest.
