Imphal, December 31 2015 : The Island Block Development Committee (IBDC), Saikul sub-division has strongly condemned the indiscriminate firing on innocent villagers of Somrei village by Thoubal police commandos deployed at ABCI camp, Somrei on December 27, injuring four persons.

IBDC urged the State Government to resolve the issue before things turn worse and take appropriate action against those personnel involved in the firing, said a press release issued by the chairman and the general secretary of IBDC.
