State girl raped at Delhi, accused held

A 21-year-old Manipuri girl has been raped at Dwarka More area of Gandhi Chowk in Delhi on December 29 night.
Three men involved in the case have been pulled up by the police.
The girl is currently studying in a college in Jalandhar (Punjab) and she came to Delhi to visit one of her cousin brothers and enjoy her vacation there on December 24, said Manipur Young Mind Association, Delhi advisor Raju Ningombam.
After she stayed one night in the rented room of her cousin brother, she was shifted to the room of her cousin brother's girlfriend at Kishan Gani the next day.
There, she found her cousin brother's girlfriend sharing room with two married women from Manipur, Raju said.
On December 29, after her cousin's girlfriend went to work, she went to one of her friends' places in Munirka.
At around 4.30 pm the same day, she received a call from the two women asking her whether she wished to hang Out with them.
As the girl told the two women to pick her up from Munirka, the duo came in an auto at around 6.30 pm, Raju said.
However, instead of hanging out, the women took the girl to a flat at Dwarka More of Gandhi Chowk, where they found some black youths waiting for them.
After having some light conversation among them, the black youth and two Manipuri women forced the girl to take a drink.
Later, a black youth forcibly took the girl to another room of the house and raped her there.
The girl's nightmare did not end there as another black youth also tried to rape her.
However, she somehow managed to escape from the house. She then took the help of a local man who came on a bike and reached Dwarka More Metro station.
She then called a friend of one of her relatives residing at Kishanganj.
The next day, the matter was informed to police and NGOs - Fight You Are Not Alone and Manipur Young Mind Association, Delhi.
Later, Delhi police with the help of these NGOs arrested the two women and three black youths involved in the crime.
