Imphal, October 30 2012: MLA Y Surchandra has inspected various projects taken up under MDS in Kakching constituency.

The MLA also conducted a close inspection on projects proposed to be taken up within the AC.

Surchandra was accompanied by Sports Director, Hawaibam Dilip Singh, Project Consultant and engineers of MDS during the inspection tour.

Inspecting site for construction of Canoeing and Kayaking over Irum River; a community hall at Kakching Makha Leikai Children Park; a sports complex and Kakching Chumnang and infrastructure shortage at Kakching Hr Sec School were included in the day's activities of the MLA and his team.

The MLA also appealed locals of Kakching to clean and maintain Irum River for use in times of water scarcity.
