Thoubal, July 30 2013: As part of its educational campaign, 'Eikhoi Lairik Ningthina Tamshi,' members of Manipuri Students' Federation (MSF) Lilong Branch led by the vice-president of MSF Thoubal district, inspected various primary and upper primary schools in Lilong AC today.

Coming across several schools that have been poorly managed or run, the MSF has urged the ZEO Thoubal to take action for the betterment of the concerned schools at the earliest.

Briefing on the inspection, member of MSF Lilong Branch, Md Irfan Khan said that there are several schools that received mid-day meal scheme regularly although the rights of the children are never cared for.

There are also schools without students, he said.

The names of the schools without students are Haoreibi Lairakhong Madrassa, Haoreibi Konjil Jr High Madrassa, Leihaokhong Primary Madrassa, Turel Ahalbi LP Madrassa and Haoreibi Konjil Leikai Primary Madrassa.

The MSF urged the ZEO concerned to look into the matter at the earliest.
