Annual general body meeting for CADA held

Imphal, January 30 2017: Coalition Against Drugs and Alcohol (CADA) held its annual general body meeting today at CADA head office, Konung Mamang.

A press release issued by the organisation stated that annual reports on various topics were discussed in the GBM like academic awareness programmes, leikai/village level awareness programmes, drive campaign, leadership training camp, quarterly journal publication, social service, sports and educational competition, observations, meira rally and political issues etc.

The members from various units and districts, also, minutely discussed the annual report and Statement of Account for last year, it conveyed adding that the Annual Action plan for this year was also discussed and decided.

The organisation also showed gratitude to the supporters, participants and well wishers of the organisation and its various programmes and ventures, it added.

A one minute silence was also observed in honour of late Khaidem (o) Pasot from Nongchup Sanjembam who was the finance secretary of CADA Imphal West District Committee.

According to the press release, the general body meeting concluded with the selection of 11 individuals to various posts including Advocate Yumnam Ratankumar and Dipanjit Ningthoujam as the president and general secretary of the organisation respectively for the session 2017-18 .
