MLA H Dingo awarded 'COVID-19 National Corona Warrior Award, 2020'

MLA H Dingo, who is also the Co-Convenor of COVID-19 Joint Committee, expressed gratitude at being conferred the 'Covid-19 National Corona Warrior Award, 2020' and said it was the collective effort of the Government under the leadership of Chief Minister N Biren Singh that made it possible to control the pandemic and urged the people to have trust in the Government at the 11 Annual Conference of Dalit Sahitya organised by Dalit Sahitya Academy Manipur at Manipur Press Club today.
The annual conference was attended by Rajya Sabha MP Leishemba Sanajaoba; MLA Heikham Dingo, Manipur Building and other Construction Workers Welfare Board; Rajen Ayangba, President Japanese Hospital, Manipur; Ibotombi Khuman, Social Activist and Yumnam Mahendra Kumar Singh, National Secretary Dalit Sahitya Academy as presidium members.
Speaking at the programme MP Leishemba Sanajaoba said people in Manipur do not know how to appreciate and added all should inculcate the habit of appreciating people for the good work they have done no matter how small.
He lauded the Dalit Sahitya Academy, Manipur for presenting awards in various fields as recognition for their contribution in their respective field.
MLA H Dingo Singh said the present Government led by Chief Minister N Biren Singh is trying its best to contain the COVID-19 pandemic and urged the people to extend support in the fight against the pandemic.
23 people from various fields including music, sports and social work were honoured with Dr BR Ambedkar National Award 2020; 4 people were given Dr BR Ambedkar International Awards.
Indian Star National Awards, 2020; Khoirolgi Athoiba Mapari, 2020; Best Nurse of the year COVID-19, 2020 and Apoi Maichou Memorial Award, 2020 were also presented at the programme.
