Adimjati Ashram to get new hostel

Adimjati Shiksha Ashram Imphal will get a new hostel having capacity for accommodating 200 students, Home Minister Gaikhangam, who is also in charge of Tribal Affairs and Hills, announced on Friday.
Addressing as Chief Guest of the Annual Fresher's Meet celebration of Adimjati Ashram Shiksha at Chingmeirong, Gaikhangam assured that a new hostel which can accommodate around 200 students will be constructed near 2nd MR, Imphal.
The government has also reserved necessary fund for renovating the ground floor, fencing wall, expand kitchen room of the present premise of Adimjati Shiksha Ashram.
Highlighting the importance of discipline among the students, the Minister said that a student without discipline is comparable to a quality less human being.
If he/she respects God and elders, no one can defeat him/her.
As part of the celebration, notebooks were distributed to 150 students of the Ashram.
Rajya Sabha MP Rishang Keishing presided over the function which was also attended by Dr Chaltolian Amo, Chairman, Hill Area Committee and; R K Theko, Former MLA as Guests of Honour.
