While the chief guest called upon the student community as well as student activists to strive for further excellence and contribute their mite in the improvement of standard of education in the State, KSA advisor Th Ajitkumar in his speech regretted lack of cordiality amongst the student organisations particularly at the time of students' body elections.
Noting that on most issues there had been marked improvement in the relationships between student organisations, he strongly advocated close coordination among the student activists so that the hard earned progress in promoting quality education do not go waste.
Ajitkumar also observed that the Government needs to introspect why the privately-run educational institutions have been regularly producing meritorious students compared to miserable performance by Government school students inspite of the fact that Government teachers are drawing higher salary amount.
A thang-ta show by KSA members was the other highlight of the celebration.
