Imphal, October 27 2015: The 7th annual exhibition of art including photographs of Arts Society, Manipur was set into motion today at the Art Gallery of Imphal Art College.

The inaugural session of the exhibition was attended by K Radhakumar Singh, Secretary, Art and Culture, Govt of Manipur and Koolchandra M, president of Arts Society Manipur as the chief guest and president respectively.

A total of 45 art works and photographs � 17 paintings, six sculptures, seven graphics and 15 photographs, have been put on display at the exhibition.

The exhibition will be held till Oct 30 .

The chief guest presented the ASM Annual Art Award 2015 to Naorem Rajesh Singh (Graphic).

The ASM award (Honourable mention) was also presented to Athokpam Kuber Singh (Painting) .

A Jandhabi Devi Memorial Art Award was presented to H Satyabrata Singh (drawing) and RK Robindro Singh was presented the A Jandhabi Devi Memorial Art Award (Honourable Mention) .

Each award carries a shawl, citation and cash amount of Rs 10,000 .
