SUK Thoubal District Committee gets new office bearers

Imphal, August 26 2021: The Students' Union of Kangleipak (SUK), Thoubal district committee today elected new office bearers after the completion of the terms of the office bearers elected for the year 2020-21 .

The election of new office bearers was conducted at the head office of SUK in a simple function presided by Th Tarun Khuman, general secretary of the body and organisation secretary Oinam Ranjit, a statement of SUK said.

Maibam Pradipkumar was elected as the president of the SUK Thoubal district committee at the occasion while Niranjit Akoijam was elected vice president.

Naorem Prasanta was elected as the new general secretary of the district committee while Moirangthem Noren, Khangembam Malemnganba, Rajkumar Berlin, Khundrakpam Amarjit, Khangembam Amarjit, Khangembam Bikash, Laitonjam Kebisana, Keisham Ophelia, Md Sahid and Laishram Premchand were respectively named joint secretary, finance secretary, organisation secretary, HRD secretary, external affairs secretary, health and sports secretary, women welfare secretary, cultural secretary, publicity secretary and office secretary respectively.

The new officer bearers were detailed about their roles and responsibility during the programme, the statement said.

The statement further informed that the newly elected members have taken charge with immediate effect.
