Imphal, June 25 2016 : Carrying on the mass pro-ILPS movement being spearheaded by JCILPS, demonstrations were staged at different localities on Khurai-Kongpal road today.

Large number of womenfolk came to the street and staged demonstrations disturbing traffic movement at these areas.

Womenfolk and local club members of Kongpal Kshetri Leikai, Kongpal Kongkham Leikai, Kongpal Khaidem Leikai and Kongpal Naoroi-bam Leikai staged protest demonstrations at Kongpal Iranpham Thongkhong.

Protest demonstrations were also staged at Top Khongnang Makhong Ma-mang Leikai and Top Khong- nang Makhong Maning Leikai.

The protesters later formed human chains and raised slogans like 'we condemn want- ed tag on Kh Ratan', 'withdraw wanted tag from Kh Ratan immediately', 'Long Live Manipur', 'we want ILPS', and 'we demand ILPS' etc.
