Imphal, April 25 2025: A number of arms and ammunition were recovered by security forces in two separate search operations carried out at Teijang village, Churachandpur district and Langol foothills (western side), Imphal West on April 24 .

The arms and ammunition recovered during the search operation at Teijang village included one carbine machine gun, one single barrel rifle (country made), one rocket with launcher (5 feet), one mortar (country made), one pumpi, one carbine magazine, 10 live rounds of 9 mm, 10 mortar bombs, one pumpi shell, one HE bomb and two No.36 hand grenades.

The items recovered from Langol foothills included one US made 9 mm pistol along with magazine, 10 rounds of 9 mm pistol ammunition and one wireless set along with adapter and charger, said a press release issued by the Police Control Room.

On the other hand, Manipur Police recovered six vehicles in a special drive conducted for recovery of stolen/snatched vehicles from anti-social elements/miscreants on April 23 .

Further, police removed tinted glasses from 79 vehicles on April 23 .
