Over 600 receive treatment at medical camp

More than 600 patients received medical consultations and treatment at a free medical camp organised by the Poumai Naga Naotumai Me (Poumai Naga Women Union) under the theme "Service to humanity is service to God" today.
Conducted under the supervision of the Kangpokpi Area Poumai Naga Union, the free medical camp held at Liyai Kalapahar provided cost-free treatment and free medicines to the patients.
Speaking in connection with the camp, Delilah Pao, president, PNNM said "As mothers, we want to help our poor villagers who couldn't get proper medical attention due to the ongoing conflict" .
She also added that the medical camp was meant for every sick individual who needs medical treatment and medicine regardless of their ethnicity and tribe.
Meanwhile, the PNNM has expressed joy upon seeing many Nagas from different villages and tribes, Nepalis and others in the queue.
The women's union also extended its gratitude to the medical team for their yeoman service for coming out of their comfort zone to help the helpless and needy.
The Poumai Naga Naotumai Me further expressed their sincere gratitude to CMO, Kangpokpi, DC Kangpokpi, SP Kangpokpi and CMO Senapati, well-wishers and generous contributors who wish to remain anonymous for their support and contributions.
Special mention was made of Asahrii Clement, president, PNTM and his colleagues for their cooperation and constant support.
