MASLSA launches mobile van to spread legal awareness

Imphal, October 22 2021:
As apart of the National Legal Services Authority (NALSA)'s Pan India Awareness and outreach programme, a mobile van whjch will spread legal awareness across the State was flagged off today.
The legal awareness will be carried out by Manipur State Legal Services Authority (MASLSA) and the van was flagged off from Judges Guest House of High Court of Manipur by Executive Chairman of MASLSA, Justice Kh Nobin.
A film titled 'Khangminashi Eikhoi' produced jointly by MASLSA and Nokphade artists was also released today.
The film is based on the various Acts under the India Constitution and is aimed to help in 'disseminating legal awareness among the public.
The event was also attended by Chairperson of Imphal West District Legal Services Authority (DLSA), A Guneshwar, Chairperson of Imphal East DLSA, RK Memcha Devi and secretary of MASLSA, Ojesh Mutum.
Speaking at the occasion, Justice KH Nobin said that the Pan India Awareness and outreach programme has been launched by NALSA with an aim to spread legal awareness in every nook and corner of the country and subsequently the same has been carried out in the State.
And the mobile van which has been flagged off today will help in enhancing the legal awareness activities in the State and many will benefit from the programme, he added.
