Imphal, July 22 2016 : A sit-in protest was staged at Khurai Lamlong Keithel demanding RIMS authority to follow transparency and honesty while submitting the enquiry report in connection with the death of Kheroda.

JAC constituted against the death of Thokchom Kheroda convenor Sairemcha Ramanda alleged Kheroda would have been alive had the doctors not neglected their duties.

The enquiry committee should reveal the truth.

Shutting down the RIMS OPD while the enquiry is going on is not reasonable.

Depriving people of treatment and neglecting professional ethics by RIMS Teachers and Medical Officers' Association is something that should be condemned by all.

Instead of fighting for the good cause, supporting a doctor who is accountable for the incident shows lack of respect towards human life and human values, he added.

S Ramanda further urged the people to extend support so that justice is delivered.
