Shops asked to remain open till 7 pm for X-mas

Imphal, December 21 2011: In view of the upcoming Christmas and New Year festivals, the shops in Imphal areas have been requested to open till 7 pm every day.

In a statement, Deputy Inspector General of Police (Range-I) cum Senior SP of Imphal West District L Kailun has assured that adequate security will be provided in the areas where shops are opened.

Appealing to the public to be vigilant about suspicious objects, pick pockets, cheats, etc, the police officer has conveyed that in case of any complaint, police control room (0385/2450214), OC of City Police (0385/2458515, 9856089966), OC of Imphal PS (0385/2450002, 9862582877), TI of TCP Imphal West (0385/2450882, 9402881534), DSP Traffic (0385/2450882, 9402881879), Additional SP (L& O) Imphal West (0385/2449975, 9436038404) and SDPO Imphal (0385/2450580, 9612904636) may be contacted.
