Imphal, July 20 2024: A special outreach health camp was conducted at the community hall of Young Citizens' Social Club, Haobam Marak Kangjam Leikai in Imphal West district on June 19, 2024 .

The special outreach health camp was organised by the Urban Primary Health Centre - Ayushman Arogya Mandir (UPHC - AAM) Kwakeithel in collaboration with the staff of Urban Health and Wellness Centre, Haobam Marak Ward no 13, said a statement by UPHC-AAM Kwakeithel.

The camp was held under the supervision of the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Imphal West and the District Programme Manager (DPM) .

More than 80 individuals availed the benefits of the camp where consultations on various health concerns were done including screening on Non-communicable diseases (NCDs) and Smart scope cervical cancer screening.

Free medical tests were also done and free medicines were also dispensed.

As a part of the camp, a health talk on cervical screening cancer screening was also delivered.

Furthermore, the UPHC-AAM Kwakeithel has appealed to the public to avail the benefits of the Smart scope cervical screening done at the centre.
