Sub-treasury, police stations and guest house inaugurated

Imphal, December 18 2016: Chief Minister O Ibobi Singh today inaugurated Sub-Treasury office at Moirang, Phougakchao Ikhai police station, Keibul Lamjao police station and Chingnu Moirang Thangjing guest house at Moirang.

Speaking at the occasion, Chief Minister O Ibobi Singh said that Government institutions were developed in order to ease the problems of the people of Moirang Assembly Constituency.

The setting up police stations will not only check crime but also maintain law and order in the area.

The Chief Minister further stated that opening of the Sub Treasury Office at Moirang will help the people especially pensioners.

Moirang being a tourist hotspot of the State, people have been witnessing a large number tourists each day.

Since private hotels could not accommodate all the tourists, Chingnu Moirang Thangjing Guest House has been constructed.

Deputy Chief Minister Gaikhangam, Commerce & Industries Minister Govindas Konthoujam, PHED Minister Manga Vaiphei, Moirang AC MLA M Prithiviraj Singh, Kumbi AC MLA S Bira Singh, Thanga AC MLA Th Mangibabu Singh, DGP LM Khaute and Bishnupur DC M Harekrishna were also present at the event.
