Dhanamanjuri College of Teachers Education celebrates golden jubilee

The golden jubilee of Dhanamanjuri College of Teachers Education was celebrated today at the hall of the college within the campus.
The function was graced by Professor T Inaobi Singh, Dean, School of Education, Manipur University; DR RK Lokendra Singh, Principal, Dhanamanjuri College of Teachers Education and Professor N Sanjoy Singh, Principal, Hindi Teachers Training College as the chief guest, functional president and guest of honour.
Speaking as the chief guest, Professor T Inaobi Singh lauded teachers saying that developments made in the educational field are largely due to the contribution of teachers.
He claimed that Dhanamanjuri College of Teachers Education is the teachers institute that produces the most number of teachers.

In the present day, the role of teachers goes beyond merely imparting knowledge in the classroom but also identifying the skills and talents students possess and nurturing them.
Stating that individuals receiving teachers training must possess certain qualities, he highlighted the importance of a sacrificial spirit and an unbiased outlook.
He also urged people to recall and honour the many teachers and students who played a vital role at Dhanamanjuri College of Teachers Education on the occasion of the golden jubilee celebration.
As a part of the function, the former principal and general secretary of Dhanamanjuri College of Teachers Education were honoured with a simple memento.
Aside from this, a souvenir was also released to mark the 50th foundation day celebration of the College.
