Financial literacy awareness programme held

Senapati, September 14 2022: CSP Cell, Manipur State Cooperative Bank (MSCB) Ltd in collaboration with NABARD Imphal today organised a 1-day financial literacy awareness programme at Matanmai Branch Office, Proumai Area LAMPS Co-operative Society Limited Senapati.

It was attended by P Ranjit, president MSCB Ltd; Y.Subhas Chandra, vice president MSCB Ltd; Sanjibehari, CSP Cell MSCB Ltd; board members of MSCB, RK Rajkumar and Ng Thaiho; and Ng Dovei, Deputy Manager MSCB Ltd Kangpokpi among others.

The programme chaired by Ch Seikho Prou, secretary Proumai Area LAMPS Co-operative Society Limited began with a welcome address by L Sipri Sha, president Proumai Area LAMPS Co-operative Society Limited.

Speaking on the occasion, Sanjibehari stated that any society will not progress unless people are systematic and work hard.

He also advised the participants to not waste the loan money and not depend too much on the Government's subsidy & loan rather plan how to utilize it properly.

P Ranjit mentioned that the Government is willing to help and develop weaker sections of the society through cooperative banks.

He also informed the gathering about the loans available under MSCB, terms & condition, subsidy, loan process, etc.

Ng Dovei highlighted the documents required for opening an account and other terms & conditions to avail various facilities provided by the bank.

About 60 members of Proumai Area LAMPS Co-operative Society Limited also took part in the programme.
