Expedite Chandel district hospital construction : ALT

Imphal, July 14 2015 : The Anal Lenruwl Tangpi (Anal Students' Union) has urged all concerned to speed up the construction of 50-bedded district hospital Chandel and ensure its completion at the earliest.

According to a statement issued by ALT, the union has highlighted the delay in completion of the hospital construction a number of times to the authority concerned.

However, no positive action has been taken up so far.

Urging all concerned to ensure timely completion of the hospital, the ALT has warned of launching various forms of agitation in case the demand is overlooked.

At the same time, ALT has also urged the Health Minister to appoint specialist doctors at the Chandel district hospital.
