AMTUC, MSPDCL: Engage Employees Union urge

The All Manipur Trade Unions Council, MSPDCL Engage Employees Union and Young Women Street Vendors Association have submitted a separate memorandum to Union Minister of State for Labour Rameswar Teli.
All Manipur Trade Unions Council, in its memorandum, urged the Union MoS to upgrade the Employees Provident Fund office to a regional office, ensure minimum wages for Anganwadi workers and helpers and give ESIC benefits to Anganwadi worker helpers among others.
MSPDCL Engage Employees Union and Young Women Street Vendors Association, on the other hand, urged the Union Minister to regularise the contract employees of the corporation and cover them in ESIC.
The corporation also urged Rameswar Teli to cover its computer operators in the EPF scheme.
The matters raised by the Young Women Street Vendors Association includes to classify vending sites in Imphal city, to issue vendor card to genuine vendors, give benefits of Manipur State Urban Livelihood Mission to street vendors, release the 2nd instalment of PM Street Vendor Atma Nidhi and construct a warehouse at Imphal city among others.
The memoranda were submitted during -n e-SHRAM distribution ceremony held at Imphal Hotel.
