Primary school teachers workshop held at Khangsim

With an objective to improve education system in the district, Autonomous District Council (ADC) Chandel organised a one day seminar cum workshop for primary school teachers of Machi Block at Khangshim Village Community Hall in Chandel district today.
T Hopeson Maring, executive member ADC Chandel, Ch Meshil, member ADC Chandel, S Robin, member ADC Chandel and TK Moshilpha, Inspector of Schools attended the programme as the presidium members.
Resource persons N Biramangol Singh, retd Principal, DIET Kakching and M Rameshwar Singh, lecturer Kakching Higher Secondary School deliberated on the topics impact of parents and teachers in Primary Education and the role of teachers in preparing the students to encounter future challenges.
While speaking at the programme, TK Moshilpha, Inspector of Schools, ADC Chandel said that primary education is important among different levels of education.
Without getting proper education at the primary level, a good student cannot be produced at the higher level.
Primary teachers should discharge their duties sincerely and consider all the students as their own children, added the Inspector of Schools.
While appealing to the teachers to extend cooperation in uplifting the education system of the district, Moshilpha further said that the teachers should apply the teaching methods which were learned from training and workshops to teach the students effectively.
Deputy Inspector of School Ps Darsaling, Kh Standhope and H Melison, Assistant Inspectors of School also attended the workshop along with a large number of primary teachers including headmasters and headmistresses of primary schools under ADC Chandel.
