Imphal, June 10 2011: Reacting to the news report about arrest of seven PLA cadres from Christian Basti, Guwahati by a combined team of Assam Police, Army and 128th Bn CRPF as published on June 8, the proscribed RPF has rejected the claim that seven individuals were its cadres.

The arrested individuals were identified as Lairenlakpam Joychandra alias Abung alias Okendro (32), Lairenlakpam Irabot (52), Safaba Mangang (33), S Kunjabihari (52), L Modhu (34), K Deny (35) and HP Singh.

All these individuals were not members of either RPF or PLA, said a press release issued by the outfit's assistant publicity secretary GM Changjou.

Okendro was already declared a deserter by Order no 001 DSR SG 11 issued by the party Secretary General, it added.
