13th Triennial Conference of HYA held

Churachandpur, April 09 2022: The Hmar Youth Association (HYA) conducted its 13th Triennial Conference at READS Auditorium, Rengkai on April 7-8, 2022 .

The function was presided by Laldawnlien Varte, president HYA GHQ and Lalramsiem Zote, general secretary HYA GHQ, said a release issued by HYA GHQ.

The event began with an obituary and presidential address by Laldawnlien Varte to the gathering of 10 Joint Headquarters including 131 branches spread across different states of North East India.

Being one of the biggest philanthropic organizations, the HYA conducted its general business session in this Triennial Conference and the conference ended after the successful and unanimous election of new office bearers for the term, April 2022-March 2025 .

The election was conducted under the strict supervision and leadership of the Hmar Christian Leaders' Forum (HCLF), Manipur.

The newly elected office bearers included Laldawnlien Varte (general president), Lalsanhim Sanate (general vice president), Lalramsiem Zote (general secretary), D Lalruotlien (general assistant secretary), Vanlalmuon Joute (secretary finance), Ruolchunghnung (treasurer), Tv LRS Puruolte (secretary information), Nk May Rose (secretary arts & culture), and Laldawnlien Ralsun (secretary games & sports) .

Oath taking of the newly inducted office bearers were administered by Rev Dr Lalrosiem Songate.

The conference concluded with a thanksgiving prayer by Rev Rokhum Zote.
