Imphal, September 06 2024: The State Government has declared holiday for all Government, Government-aided, private, Central schools, Government institutions, aided colleges and private colleges under Higher and Technical Education Department in the State on September 7 .

In view of the unrest and prevailing situation in the State and keeping in mind the safety of students and teachers, all Government, Government-aided, private and Central schools in the State will stay closed on September 7, said an order issued today by Director of Education(S) L Nandakumar Singh.

A similar order has also been issued by Higher and Technical Education Joint Secretary Laishram Dolie Devi.
