Trainer's training concludes

Imphal, July 05 2014 : The five day training of trainers on Youth Employability Skills which was jointly organised by the Rajiv Gandhi National Institute of Youth Development (RGNIYD), Sriperumbudar and NSS Cell, Manipur University concluded today at the Linguistics Department, Manipur University.

Prof Ch Yashowanta Singh, Department of Linguistics and Dr Ch Ibohal Singh, Programme Co-ordinator, NSS Cell, Manipur University attended the programme as chief guest and president respectively.

The training was attended by 50 trainers.

Almost 40 different sessions were dedicated to lectures, demonstrations, group discussions and programmes conducted by the trainers themselves.

Twenty one resource persons including RGNIYD trainers took part in the training.

The major issues discussed during the included ice breaker, action plan, employability, employment, communication skills, team work, problem solving skills, decision making, conflict resolution, positive attitude, reliability, lifelong learning, agility, adaptability, inhibition, transition, confidence building, personal responsibility, self presentation, manner and etiquettes, motivation, daily schedule, task management, career planning, job analysis, resume writing, interview tips and cover writing.
