Teachers' orientation programme held at Tamei

Imphal, June 05 2013:
A large number of government school teachers in Tamei area participated in the two-day orientation programme held at Tamei headquarters on May 28-29 where three resource persons of the event under the theme, 'Management of primary education in the hill areas of Manipur' exerted their best efforts imparting teaching tips to the teachers.
Sponsored by Tribal Research Institute, Manipur and organized by Liangmai Education Trust, Manipur, the programme was participated by 45 primary school teachers from Tamei headquarters and the adjoining villages.
DIET lecturer Aliulak Newmai (MA.
M.Ed) presented tips on 'Lesson Planning and Pedagogical Issues on Diagnostic Testing of Children's Error Remedial Teachin while another lecturer K Sempoi dwelt on Child Psychology and Kinsongsiliu (MSc, M.Ed) presented on Evaluation.
Former Lok Sabha MP Mani Charenamai and Rev..ZMairilungbou, Executive Secretary of LNBA(M) as chief guest and president respectively while Rev.Dr..HNewmai, former Executive Secretary and president of LNBA (M) dedicated the orientation programme.
Meanwhile, the Liangmai Education Trust, Manipur is organizing a felicitation programme for all successful students of Liangmai community in matric and class-XII examiniations, 2013 at Liangmai Baptist Church, Imphal at 7 am.
The successful candidates are requested to be present in the programme without fail.
The Church is planning to have special prayer time for them.
Certificates of appreciation will be awarded to each and every successful candidate who passed in first division.
