RNPO to observe 78th Naga Independence Day

Tamenglong, August 04 2024: The Rongmei Naga People's Organization (RNPO) has resolved to observe the 78th Naga Independence Day on August 14 in collaboration with like-minded civil society organizations at Tamenglong District Head Quarter.

As per a release issued by Sangamlung Kamei, president RNPO and Thuingamlung Phaomei, general secretary RNPO, the resolution was passed during a virtual meeting organised by the RNPO on August 2 .

Additionally, the virtual meeting also resolved to give necessary directives to the State units of RNPO, namely, RNCA, RCN and RNCM to organize observance of the 77th Anniversary of Naga Independence Day in a grand manner under their respective State units.

The meeting also resolved to inform all authorities concerned about the observance ceremony to facilitate further necessary cooperation and assistance.
