No force can break Manipur if people are united: Minister

CAF&PD Minister Karam Shyam has conveyed that no force can affect the State if the people stands united as one to protect the integrity and interests of the State.
He made the statement during the inauguration of a badminton court at Chajing Awang Leikai, under Langthabal A/C Imphal East district, today.
Speaking as the chief guest, the Minister lauded the CSOs, clubs, Meira Paibis and the people for working together to protect the State and added that as long as such unity exists, no one can harm Manipur.
However, he also appealed to the people to remain alert and to stay clear of rumours and false news.
On the other hand, he said that he heard reports of oil depot being opened yesterday, yet declining to supply petrol to consumers claiming to have not petroleum stock.
He continued that the CAF&PD and IOC officials looked into the matter and it has come to light that due to the shutdown and holidays on from October 30 to November 1, oil challans were not taken.
However, there is ample oil, he assured appealing the people to refrain from lining up in queues and trying to take away all the fuel for themselves.
Langthabal A/C polling station 20/29 Development Committee president Y Homendro, Lilong Municipal Council Chairperson L Lalmani, LJP Langthabal president L Birenyaima, vice president B Brajamohon, Mingle Club advisors Dr Kh Radheshyam and L Jadumani were also present as presidium members.
