Imphal, September 02 2011: OMCRS Ebenezer Children's Home, Langol would be organising a Charity diner on September 10 at its campus from 2 to 5 pm.

The event would also witness a variety of entertainment programmes to be performed by the inmates of the Children Home.

According to a statement issued by the organising committee, with the motto, 'Love, Care & Equip', OMCRS Ebenezer Children's Home has presently 65 children belonging to various communities including Naga, Zomi-Kuki-Chin, Meitei and Nepalese but it has never received any funding from either the Central or the State Government.

Among other achievements of the Home, first batch of 3 students appeared in HSLC exam, 2006-07 and passed in Ist, 2nd and 3rd div.; the second batch of 4 students passed in HSLC, 2007-08 in 2nd div.; the third batch of 3 students passed in HSLC , 2008-09 in Ist and 2nd div.; the fourth batch of 3 students passed in Ist and 2nd div.

in HSLC, 2009-10 and the fifth batch of another 3 students cleared the exam in 2010-11 in Ist, 2nd and 3rd division.
