Imphal, April 30 2016 : After being cut off from the rest of the State for several days due to landslides at different places, connectivity between Tameng-long district headquarters and the rest of the State has been partially restored.

According to information received from the district administration, multiple land- slides blocked roads leading to Tamenglong district headquarters at different points.

But the landslides have been somehow partially clear-ed and light vehicles can now reach the district headquarters.

It is expected that heavy vehicles will be able to move to and from Tamenglong district headquarters within the next couple of days.

It is reported that power supply to the district headquarters was also restored last night.
