RDA, JNIMS holds candle march against atrocities on doctors

The Resident Doctors' Association, Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Medical Sciences (RDA, JNIMS) organised a peaceful candle march inside the campus to show solidarity to all the protesting resident doctors of the nation in connection with the repeated postponement of NEET-PG Counselling 2021.RDA, JNIMS also strongly condemned the brutal manhandling of the protesting doctors in the National capital on December 27 who were protesting peacefully.
Maintaining that there is excessive shortage of manpower in all the hospitals countrywide as one whole batch of doctors have not joined yet since the past one year, the doctors' association stated that the existing doctors who are serving since COVID-19 first wave are facing immense trouble and are exhausted physically, mentally and emotionally.
Stating that conducting the pending NEET-PG counselling will reinforce the Nation with atleast 40,000 to 50,000 resident doctors, the RDA, JNIMS earnestly appealed to the authorities concerned to conduct the NEET-PG 2021 counselling at the earliest in the interest of all.
