AMUCO conducts E-Shram and CMHT enrollment drive at Keibul Lamjao

Imphal, December 29 2021: United Clubs' Organisation of Bishnupur District (UCOBID) and All Keibul United Clubs' Organisation (AKUCO) under the aegis of AMUCO organised a E-Shram and CMHT card enrollment drive at Lamjao Phouoibi Community Hall today.

The drive has been organised with the aim of providing the benefits provided under the E-SHRAM and CMHT to the underpriviledged section of the society who are in dire need of such beneficiary schemes, said a statement issued by AMUCO.

Despite people having idea about the benefits of enrolling under the CMHT, people lack awareness about the process to apply and avail the card.

This was one of the reason for organising such enrollment drive, added the statement.

More than 250 individuals were enrolled under E-SHRAM and CMHT at the drive today.

AMUCO also added that more such enrollment drive will be conducted at other parts of the State as there is a lack of awareness amongst the public about how to get affiliated under the programme, mostly in far flung areas.

Today's drive was attended by AMUCO general secretary Dr Norendro Thokchom and other volunteers.
